GeForce NOW Game Disconnects in ABYA South America Zone Fixed
________________________________________________________________________________________________
NVIDIA engineers have been working closely with ABYA to find and fix an in-game disconnect issue that members in South America reported in Fortnite. We found an issue with our router configuration and fixed it on July 15. Since then, we have seen dramatically less in-game disconnects.
At the same time, NVIDIA has been investigating frame rate drops in games like Fortnite. Also in the July 15 update to the ABYA zone, we released improvements for frame delivery smoothness to reduce video and audio stutter. We’re continuing to monitor this issue.
These server-side improvements make the GeForce NOW service better for all members. Your individual experience will vary based on the quality of your local WiFi and ISP. NVIDIA recommends 5GHz WiFi or Ethernet connections with a Fiber or Cable Modem ISP of 50 Mbps or more.
Let us know if your gameplay experiences improved after the fixes released on July 15 via NVIDIA or ABYA support or social media accounts.
