What should I do if I see “Account connection failed” when connecting my Xbox account on GeForce NOW?

If you see this error when attempting to link your Xbox and NVIDIA accounts:
1. Launch your web browser and sign out of any existing Microsoft accounts on your system at https://account.microsoft.com/account/AccountLogin
2. Then sign in with the Microsoft account you would like to link
3. Return to the GeForce NOW app and attempt to link again
When linking, if you see a screen listing the wrong account such as the following, press the Back button to use the proper account.
If the linking is still failing and you are not given an opportunity to select or sign in with your account, you may need to log off all websites that use a Microsoft account. Here are some instructions for users on Chrome browsers.
1. Launch Chrome and go to Settings
2. Go to Privacy and security
3. Click on Site settings
4. Click View permissions and data stored across sites
5. Search for Microsoft, Sharepoint, Office, Live, Xbox, or other related Microsoft websites.
6. Expand each site listed (e.g. sharepoint.com) and visit each URL (e.g. microsoft.sharepoint.com). If the website loads, log off of the Microsoft account if logged in.
7. Go back to the GeForce NOW app and start the CONNECT process again.
