Why can’t I play the Origin versions of Electronic Arts games on GeForce NOW?
Electronic Arts recently announced the EA app, a replacement for Origin, as the primary PC platform for their games. Users’ games and content, cloud saves, and friends list will transfer to the EA app so users do not have to worry about remembering all those player IDs. While we work to add support for the EA app on GeForce NOW, some versions of Origin games will be in maintenance mode.
Once the transition is complete, we will retire all Origin versions of Electronic Arts games on GeForce NOW, replacing them with EA app versions.
If you previously used the Origin version of the game in GeForce NOW to play a game, you will now select the EA app version when they become available.
