Why am I unable to stream GeForce NOW on Android at 120 FPS (120Hz) even though my device supports it and 120 FPS is selected in the GeForce NOW settings?
Some 120Hz capable Android phones and tablets require setting the display to 120Hz prior to launching GeForce NOW. You can try the following workaround:
1. Quit the GeForce NOW app
2. Go to your device settings and enable 120Hz display mode*
3. Relaunch GeForce NOW
* Your phone’s factory settings may not be set to 120Hz by default. You may need to manually adjust your phone’s display to 120Hz. Samsung has a support article detailing how to do this. For other manufacturers, please consult your phone’s user guide.
120 FPS streaming on Android devices is only available on GeForce NOW Ultimate memberships. The feature is supported on any 120Hz-capable device but experience may vary. A list of tested devices that support 120 FPS streaming can be found here.
