Yes. GeForce NOW supports in-game microphone. You can voice chat with your friends, or foes, during gameplay. On most GeForce NOW platforms, you can use the hotkey “Ctrl+M” / “Cmd+M” to enable the microphone. If this hotkey conflicts with a game specific shortcut, you will need to adjust or remap from the game’s settings.
NOTE: Once the microphone is enabled on GeForce NOW, games may have different options to enable voice chat while playing: (1) OPEN MIC: users do not need to press a hotkey to use the microphone. (2) PUSH TO TALK: users will also need to press a specific hotkey/shortcut whenever they want to communicate.
If you are not getting any audio from your microphone on GeForce NOW, make sure your have the latest GeForce NOW app installed, and check the following:
Verify the In-Game Microphone is Enabled
For GeForce NOW platforms like Windows, macOS, TV, or Browser, use the hotkey “Ctrl+G” / “Cmd+G” / ‘Hold START” button to bring up the in-game overlay when streaming. You can verify if the microphone toggle is switched ON. Also, in the right hand corner, the microphone icon should appear when the microphone is ON.

For GeForce NOW platforms like iOS and Android mobile, you can click the slider in the top left corner of the screen to bring up the in-game overlay when streaming. You can verify if the microphone toggle is switched ON.

Verify Microphone Permissions
For Windows PCs, open settings and search “Microphone Privacy Settings”. Turn on “Allow apps to access your microphone”.

If playing from a Browser (https://play.geforcenow.com), Allow microphone permission from the browser by clicking on the lock sign beside the URL. Then turn on the microphone.

If playing from an Android or TV OS, open settings and find App Permissions to select the microphone settings and check to see if microphone permissions are enabled for the GeForce NOW app.

Verify System Level Microphone Settings
For Windows PCs, you can check if the desired microphone device is selected as the default communication device.
Type mmsys.cpl inside the windows runner and click OK.
Type mmsys.cpl inside the windows runner and click OK.

Select the recording tab and right click on your desired microphone device. Then select both “Set as Default Device” and “Set as Default communication Device”.

For macOS devices, check if the desired microphone device is selected as default for Sound Input.
